Most Excellent Grand High Priest (2021 – 2022)
Companion Patrick J. Robin, was born in 1976 in Providence, RI. He is a Senior Cisco UC Collaboration Architect for Meridian IT in Deerfield, IL. He has one daughter Hannah from a previous marriage, and is married to Molly Bettencourt-Robin.
He was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason in January 2010 in Jerusalem Temple Lodge No. 90, Ancient Free & Accepted Masons of Illinois, in Aurora, Illinois. He is currently a life member of both Illumination Lodge No. 5 Bloomindale and Euclid Lodge No. 65 Naperville as well as a Charter member of Medinah Lodge No. 1182 in Addison, IL. He has served on the Grand Lodge Arrangements Committee as well as being appointed to the position of a Grand Steward.
Our Right Excellent Deputy Grand High Priest was advanced to the degree of Mark Master and exalted to the supreme degree of Holy Royal Arch Mason, both at the joint Illinois Wisconsin Chapter Day in 2012. He is a Past Excellent High Priest of Keystone Chapter No. 281 in Addison, IL as well as a life member of Euclid Chapter No. 13 in Naperville, IL. He was appointed to the Grand Line in 2013 to be the Excellent Grand Chaplain by the Most Excellent Grand High Priest Alan M. Hubble. Most Excellent Grand High Priest William J. Hussey Jr. decided to keep him in his position for his term as well. He was elected to the position of Grand Royal Arch Captain by his fellow Companions at the 2015 Grand Sessions. He has been a member of the Royal Arch Masons Charitable Foundation Fundraising Committee for the past seven years and a Board Member for the past 5 years. He is also a member of the Illinois College of Societas Rosicruciana.
Companion Robin was greeted as a Select Master in 2012 in Adoniram Council No. 95, Cryptic Masons of Illinois, in Naperville, IL.
Patrick was dubbed and created a Knight of the Valiant and Magnanimous Order of the Temple 2015 in Trinity Commandery No. 80, Knights Templar of the State of Illinois, in Naperville, IL.
Our Right Excellent Deputy Grand High Priest was initiated into Green Dragon Council No. 524, Allied Masonic Degrees, in 2012 in Downers Grove, IL, and is currently a member of the Grand Master’s Council.
Brother Robin was created a 32° Scottish Rite Freemason and Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret in March 2010 in the Valley of Chicago, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, where he served as an appointed officer for 6 years making it up to the Orator for the Van Rensselaer Lodge of Perfection. He has served on the Leadership Committee, was involved in creating the Marshall Committee, as well as the Chairman for the MS Bike A Thon Rest Stop Committee for the Valley for 5 years. He also served as the Secretary on the Board of Governors for the Dyslexia Learning Center of Chicago as well as the Chairman for the Center’s Parents Committee and is a member of the Valley’s Ancient Craft Degree team for 4 years. He is also a life member in the Scottish Rite Research Society for the Southern Jurisdiction.
He was made a Noble of the Mystic Shrine at Medinah during the 2010 Spring Ceremonial. He has served as a Ceremonial Divan member and the Ceremonial Potentate and is currently the Director of Ceremonials and the Major of Medinah Patrol. He is also currently a member of El Hajj Caravanserai No. 1 in Des Plaines, Il.
Patrick was made a Prophet of the Enchanted Realm at El Jaala Grotto in Des Plaines, Illinois in 2013. He is also a member of The Widow Sons 357 Brotherhood Chapter out of Berwyn, IL. As well as being a Past Master Distiller for ALAS Chapter No. 1 out of Des Plaines, Il.
