Companion Ryan W. Irby was born in 1975 in Danville, Illinois. He attended Georgetown-Ridgefarm High School, in Georgetown IL. Ryan and his wife Tammy have been married 27 years. They are the paw-rents of a beautiful fur baby Simba, a red & blue nose pit mix. They have a total of 12 nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces and 3 great nephews.
Worshipful Brother Irby was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason on October 18, 2006 at Further Light Lodge No. 1130 of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Illinois in Danville, IL. WB Irby served as Worshipful Master of his lodge in 2009, he then transferred to Catlin Lodge #285, where he has served as Worshipful Master, and currently as Secretary.
Companion Irby was exalted to the supreme degree of Holy Royal Arch Mason on March 12, 2011 at Champaign Chapter No. 50 in Champaign, Illinois. He served as the Excellent High Priest in 2014. He is a charter member of Admiration Chapter # 282, and currently sits as Royal Arch Captain. Ryan obtained his 1st Level Ritual Certification in December of 2018 from the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of the State of Illinois.
Companion Irby was greeted as a Select Master in 2010 at Urbana Council No. 19 of Cryptic Masons in Champaign, Illinois. He served as the Thrice Illustrious Master in 2014. SK Irby was dubbed and created a Knight of the Valiant and Magnanimous Order of the Temple in 2011 at Urbana Commandery No. 16 in Champaign, Illinois. He served as the Eminent Commander in 2015.
Brother Irby, was created a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Freemason and Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret in 2007 in the Valley of Danville, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite. He served as Sovereign Prince of the Walter A. Stevens Princes of Jerusalem in 2014. He also belongs to GAO Grotto in Danville, IL, Eastern Illinois AMD Council #356 and East Central York Rite College #81
Brother Irby and his wife became a member of the Order of Eastern Star at Iris Chapter No. 78 in 2013.
