Companion David (Drew) Andrew Morris was born in 1980 in Harrisburg, Illinois. He attended Southeastern Illinois College. He married Jennifer Morris in 2013 and they have 4 children (Ben, Joey, Hailey and Addison). They currently reside in Eldorado, IL.
Right Worshipful Brother Morris was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason on August 6th, 2006 at Equality Lodge No. 2 located in Equality, IL. Serving as its Worshipful Master in 2009, Secretary 2011-2013, 2015-2016 and is the current Senior Warden. He currently also serves as the District Deputy Grand Master for the 13th Southern District of the Grand Lodge of Illinois A.F. & A.M. being appointed in October of 2021 and serving as the District Education Officer before that starting in 2017.
Companion Morris was exalted on October 29th, 2015 at Equality Chapter No. 6. He served as the Excellent High Priest in 2017 and 2018 and is the current secretary. He was appointed Grand Master of the Second Veil in 2020 and was elected to Excellent Grand Principal Sojourner in 2022.
Companion Morris joined Murphysboro Council No. 49 of Cryptic Masons and Beauseant Commandery in 2022.
Companion Morris became a member of the Order of Easter Star at LeRoy A Chapter No. 350 located at Marion, IL in 2016
Mr. Morris is a founding advisory board member of Shawnee Assembly #119 of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls located at Equality, Illinois starting in 2010. He is also the recipient of the Grand Cross of Color for his service to the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls.
Dad Morris is currently serving as the Advisory Council Chairman for Little Egypt Chapter, Order of DeMolay in Harrisburg. He was awarded the Zerubbabel Key for his work in forming the chapter.
Companion Morris started his career in public service serving on the Eldorado Fire Department from 1999 to 2012, a Police Dispatcher from 2000 to 2006 and an Auxiliary Patrol Officer from 2001 to 2017 serving over 10 years as its Captain with the Eldorado Police Department. He is currently employed by Legence Bank in Eldorado as the Vice President of Security.
