Wayne Richard Clark, Sr. was born December 4, 1955, in Erial, New Jersey to Thomas and Dorothy Clark. Wayne married Connie Klotz on August 9, 1975. They have three sons, Wayne Jr., Jeremy, and Jesse and three grandchildren, Adalynn, Lukas, and Elliot. Wayne retired from the State of Illinois where he was the Managed Medicaid Fraud units in the Office of Inspector General, Healthcare and Family Services.
He was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on April 15, 2000, in Ark and Anchor Lodge No, 354, AF & AM in Auburn, Illinois. He presided as Worshipful Master there 2010 and served as Treasurer and Secretary.
He was exalted a Royal Arch Mason in Springfield Chapter No, 1, Springfield, Illinois, where he served as High Priest in 2012-2013, Secretary and District Deputy Grand High Priest for the 6th District South, 2013-2014, and District 8, 2022-2023. He is a plural member in Tuscola Chapter No. 66, Tuscola, Illinois.
He was greeted a Royal and Select Master in Springfield Council No. 2, Springfield, Illinois where he served as Thrice Illustrious Master 2011-2012 and Recorder.
He was dubbed and created a Knight of the Valiant and Magnanimous Order of the Temple on April 8, 2009, in Elwood Commandery No. 6, Springfield, Illinois, where he served as Eminent Commander in 2011 and 2013, and Recorder. He is a plural member of Melita Commandery No. 37, Tuscola, Illinois, where he serves as Recorder. He served as 3rd Division Commander 2015-2016 and was elected Grand Junior Warder in 2016. He was installed as the Grand Commander of the Grand Commandery of Illinois July 30, 2022, in Springfield, Illinois. He served as a member of the Board of Directors, Illinois Knight Templar Home Board and presided as President 2020-2022.
He was created a Knight of York in Southern Illinois York Rite Sovereign College No. 33, in Mont Vernon, Illinois in 2010, where he was elected Governor in 2022.
He was ordained as a Holy Royal Arch Knight Templar Priest in Lily of the Valley Tabernacle XLVI, Normal, Illinois, in 2020 and is a dual member in Pathros Tabernacle LVIII, Mount Vernon, Illinois.
He was admitted and installed a Knight of the Red Cross of Constantine and Appendant Orders in St Edward Conclave, Springfield, Illinois in 2021.
He was received into Illinois Priory No. 11, Knight of the York Cross of Honour in 2013.
He was initiated as a member of the Valley of Springfield, AASR, Springfield, Illinois, 2008.
He was initiated into Ansar Shrine, Springfield, Illinois where he served as Commander, Legion of Honor in 2010.
