At the top is La Fayette Chapter’s new, limited edition silver token. Measuring 40.6 mm (1.6″) in diameter and 3.0 mm (0.12″) in thickness, this large token is 31.1 g (1 Troy ounce, or 1.097 avoirdupois or standard ounce) of 99.9% pure silver, allowing for unsurpassed detail and more than enough room for the owner to engrave his mark in the keystone. The token comes in brilliant uncirculated grade, complete with a display capsule, custom red velvet mounting card, maple wood stand and gift box. The token was minted with a 300-ton hydraulic press, and its edge is finished in 180 reeds at 2°.

Israeli 1/2 New Sheqel

Many chapters use Masonic ceremonial “half shekel” slugs or U.S. quarter-dollars (to which the ritual also alludes, and which are only slightly smaller in diameter than half-sheqels). Other chapters, including La Fayette Chapter No. 2, use only genuine Israeli half-sheqel (₪0.50) coins.
