Holy
Royal Arch Degree Ritual Furnishings
The veils, ensigns,
triangular altars, and other
furnishings of chapters in Illinois
Unlike
chapters in
some other countries, who make use of the ensigns or banners of
all
twelve tribes of Israel, North American chapters
primarily use only those of
the four tribes
who were in charge of the coordinate camps around
the Tabernacle: Dan, Reuben, Ephraim, and Judah. In the
United States, the ensigns and their adjacent veils are
colour-coded as shown below. You can
support the Grand Veil Fund by ordering coffee mugs bearing all
twelve tribes’ ensigns.

If your chapter’s furnishings are not depicted here, please
email images
thereof to the Grand Webmaster. Thank you.
