Grand Veil Fund

The trust fund to maintain the Grand Chapter without increasing per capita dues

Companions, each of you needs to be aware of the importance of the Grand Veil Trust Fund.

There are three sets of coffee mugs available to purchase. Each set includes four mugs, each bearing the ensign or banner of one of the twelve Tribes of the Children of Israel. The other side is emblazoned with the Grand Chapter logo. The mug sets can be purchased by sending US$100.00 to the Grand Secretary with your name or chapter name, delivery address, and the name of the set you desire. The set of mugs will be promptly shipped.

Why do we need to purchase mugs or make donations to the Grand Veil Trust Fund? The Grand Veil Trust Fund was established in the early 1990s to assist in meeting future Grand Chapter operating expenses. Today, we use only the accrued interest from these funds to help meet the annual operating expenses. During the past couple of years, this fund has helped with expenses that provided membership programmes, state-wide training programmes and pocket petitions.

It also helped to establish Capitular Standard Clubs through the state by providing ritual books to club members. The list will continue to grow as we move further into the 21st Century. This has happened without increasing per capita dues required from the companions of Illinois. The fund needs your support to meet the continued increase in expenses as we develop new programmes and improve existing programmes.

The complete set of all twelve tribes' mugs is your gift for a US$300.00 donation.

Each mug bears the ensign of one of the twelve tribes of Israel on its obverse, and the Grand Chapter logo on its reverse.

The tribes of Dan, Rubin, Ephraim, and Judah.

The tribes of Asher, Benjamin, Zebulun, and Gad.

The tribes of Issachar, Simeon, Joseph, and Naphtali.
